Michigan Roadtrip - Part 1 - Kalahari Waterpark

we are taking another road trip to Michigan (last year it was in May to come out for my great-grandma Gentile's memorial service... this year unfortunately it is for my second cousin Kricket's memorial service. Unlike grandma's almost 98? years... Kricket's life was cut way too short at only 46.

Last time I just brought the kids myself (and stayed with the in-laws in Butler both directions)... this time Dad and Elli and the kids were driving out, so they picked us up in Butler instead. We stopped in Sandusky, Ohio to go to Kalahari resorts indoor waterpark (largest indoor waterpark in the world?) and to spend the night (since they drove all night from CT). Don't know about the big kids, but Colby & Bryce had a blast! They loved the slides and sprayers and crawling around in the 10" of water ;) Bryce is definitely my more adventurous child and dove right in, but after Colby watched him on the bigger waterslides, she decided to try them out too!
