Santa & Tree Lighting

Colby asks every day if it's Christmas yet (so yesterday we got out the advent calendar and made a paper chain with the number of days left)... she also has been asking to talk to Santa. I did NOT think she actually would since she still has some stranger anxiety (especially men), and freaked out last year. Well surprise, surprise, she jumped right up on his lap! And gave him a hug after. And what does she want for Christmas? A puppy! (Another surprise to us!) Bryce's response, however, was more what we expected from Colby. He freaked out and wouldn't even give him high-5.

We also got to watch the ballerina's dance, and the tree lighting, and take a cart ride behind two mini-ponies. And all just a block from our house... about the only advantage of living in Manheim!
