We got there just in time for the school bus demolition derby... our first ever.
We then went to check out the petting zoo and the animals on display for the farm show part. We got to pet calves, goats, ducks, bunny, guinea pigs, sheep, chickens... and then visited the show cows and horses, rabbits & poultry, swine/goats/sheep, and finally the draft horses. One of the horses had to be 8 or 9 feet at his head... it was HUGE!
And of course you can't go to the fair and not get some yummy fair food... french fries, stromboli, chicken on a stick, funnel cake, lemonade, and cotton candy.
Last stop, we saw the sea lions... we missed the show but we still enjoyed seeing them! People were getting their pics taken with them... the trainer would set the people up and then call the sea lions out to come put their heads on the shoulders of the people... it was really cute! And what a cool setup for a traveling sea lion show! http://squalus.net/
